@Schlermie You can say that again, weve been goin through the batteries like it out of style, so were just gonna sell the plane on craigslist for $90, if anyones interested, check it out

@Terminator276 The plane in the video is from around 2005. Definitely a lame battery by today's standards.

@Schlermie How much older is your plane. And thank you for the info. My plane is a newer model and the battery is really lame.

@Terminator276 I think I had to replace the batteries in that plane once, but I don't fly that one much anymore, so I'm not sure how easy it is to find batteries these days. The plane is so old, it ran on NiCd batteries. ParkZone's newer model no longer uses the NiCd batteries. They replaced them with LiPo. NiCd batteries definitely have a limited lifespan though.

I have the exact same J-3 cub as you do, but mine has the standard battery and I have been having some battery charge issues. I was wondering if you have ever had any battery problems, and what type of battery you were using at 1:41. I dont store the battery in the plane when not in use, but when i use it, the battery will not charge.
I have the exact plane. I have successfully completed 10 full, consecutive loops and upside dowm flight.
A little tip: try trimming or adjusting the elevators so the nose rides higher....it looked like the plane was continously climbing and if it flys level you'll have no trouble doing more loops without having to dive.

@Razorscooterpoo Are you sure you have the same one? You probably would've had to buy it around 5 years ago. The J-3 Cub they sell now has a brushless motor and a LiPo battery. The one in this video has an old-school motor and a little NiCd battery pack. I could see looping it 10 times, but I don't think sustained inverted flight is possible with this exact plane. I tried it several times and the motor just isn't strong enough. A brushless motor might be though.

@MrSpideradam No, that's not the micro. The wingspan is 37.25 inches (950mm).
