Pregnancy Week 28 PART 7 *Midwife Update*

I switched prenatals to a prescription one:
Foltabs Prenatal PLUS DHA/Citranatal DHA

The new medicine I am on:
1. Nature's Sunshine-Chlorophyll
For 60 Capsules it was roughly $24 bucks.
For swamp mouth take this but in the liquid form.
I take 2 a day for now, which we'll up to 3 a day, through pregnancy and postpartum. This for PREVENTION of hemorrhaging
2. Probiotics

Glucose test was done on Friday morning. I ate a non-sugary breakfast, and drank 16 oz of Apple Juice from the grocery store in 15 minutes, and exactly 1 hr later she drew my blood.

We go every 2 weeks now. Our birthing classes start April 28th.

Had my back adjusted/aligned today-feels great. My chiropractor also did a stretch for the round ligament pain and it helps, but I still have some pain.

Sarah, my midwife, said at our Week 36 appointment, it will be done here at out home, so she can get a tour of the place and know where everything is before we go into labor so she'll be prepared for when it happens. We'll also do our week 36 prenatal here at home, and go over our birth plan with her, EVERY SINGLE TINY LITTLE DETAIL OF IT! Which I have been waiting for this whole time.


For those of you who heard my complaints about Baylor Medical, she said we won't have to use them if I don't want to, it's just the place she prefers, but should a true emergency arise we'll go to the place that is closest in time of need which is HEB HARRIS METHODIST where we had our daughter. They were a great place I think they just have no bed-side manner, which almost all nurses now days lack.

QUESTIONS TO ANSWER ON WEEK 29 VIDEO:
1. do you worry about the cat with a baby? im asuming you had the cat when your daughter was a baby did the cat bother her?
2. How long does it take you to upload videos this long (close to 10min ones...)?
3. When did you find out that you were having a boy?
4. Since you're having a home birth, how will that work with your son's circumcision (that is, if you plan to have him circumcised). since you're at home will he be taken to the hospital and how long after birth that would happen?
5. Are you planning on getting him circumsized?
6. Do you know if doctors automatically give some kind of pain medication for the procedure?
7. has Jacelyn had her vaccinations?
8. And are you planning on River doing the same?
9. I have read up on them, and see a lot of controversy about autism and whatnot, but I feel that Caleb will be better off with them than without?
10. you figure out what you are going to do about the care of Jacelyn while you're in Labor, just curious? Also, did you get my request about doing a breastfeeding video?
11. are you still gonna make viddeos even after your child is born and like your baby shower
12. Do you know the brand of the closet dividers you got were or what they look like...I tryed to go back and find the video where you talked about them but couldn't find it. Also for any one who wants to know I just found the Boon Spoon at out Super Target I LOVE them and want to get one for everyone with a baby lol Thanks have a super weekend!
13. could you do a video on the things that people should know that they don't tell you, eg what happens after the birth(bleeding etc) and your experiences with learning to breast feed etc??
14. I had a few questions about products. Did you use a breast pump (if so what kind do you recomend?) and the same about a baby moniter..

I know this is an older video, but I just happen to come across it. I take clorophyll in the liquid form. I don't however take it alone (turns everything dark green).. I typically add it to my waterbottles that I drink throughout the day. It is also an "internal deodorant", so I can see how it would be great for bad breath and things like that. Our first Midwife also said it can help with keeping your body regular (ie. constipation, ect..), and also great for blood regeneration.

was looking at some other information on here.

Money does not necessarily determine how intelligent a person is, but it does pay for more education and schooling . Unfortunately, education does not always seem to make people think logically.

The upper class and even lower class bought into circumcision over time, mostly because they were being told by the "system" that it had real and important medical benefits that outweighed the known risks that are associated with any surgery.

Well then the upper class was stupid if they bought into a surgery that wasn't medically/religiously needed... I don't think money plays a role in how intelligent 1 is.
