It is pronounced that way. I know it's a common mistake for people to call it "koch" like it's spelled, but it's pronounced "coke".

@ObstinateFanatic Nope, HK has officially stated on its U.S. website, the correct English pronunciation of "Koch" is coke. Check it out for yourself.

I would say the USP is more of a go to war style pistol, but both are reliable well made and wont let you down.

Why so hard to get an ambi safety as standard equipment on the HK45 and 45C? Is it illegal to be left-handed in Germany? Yes, I'm familiar with Variant 2, but have you ever tried to find one? I'm awaiting delivery from HK of the ambi safety parts (which aren't cheap). Installation by anyone other than HK may void the warranty. Ausgezeichnet! I'm trying hard to be an HK fan. But HK isn't making it easy for me...

I have the HK45, Glock 21, and the MP45, I prefer the Glock 21, Mp 45 then the Hk45! It is a nice gun, but if I could do it all over again I would not have purchased this weapon!!!

great video man, quick question to you or anybody on here... im looking to get a full size .45. 5 years experience getting qualified. I cannot decide between this Sig P220 or the HK USP .45.. i know ones plastic ones metal, one holds 8 other holds 12.. but cant make a decision.. can somebody give me there input.. thanks so much!

@aroccop If we are talking about a brand new, current production gun, then HK blows away anything currently manufactured by SIG. The current SIGs are nowhere near the quality of the ones made prior to 2004. The quality control simply isn't there anymore. If I had to purchase one handgun brand new to trust my life with, it would be an HK pistol of any flavor. I sleep with the USP45 and Streamlight TLR1 right next to me on the night stand. Carry a P2000 or P7 when I'm not carrying a Glock. HTH!
