The Airplaco Handy-Grout TM model HGA-50 is featured on the job. This air-powered grout pump is shown filling door frames with a grout mixture. The material is mixed in a bucket using drill attachment, poured into the hopper of the grout pump. Hose connected to the pump is elevated to the hole in the door frame where a nozzle is inserted. At that point the pump is started and grout flows through the hose to fill up the space in the metal door frame (aka door buck, door jamb). The contractor on the job is Bonded Lock of Florence, KY.
The grout pump features 50 cu ft per hr production, 8 GAL hopper, output pressure up to 250 PSI, in-line pressure gauge, 1 1/4" Discharge. A 15 - 20 CFM air compressor is needed to power the pump, which includes a heavy-duty air cylinder design.
