The Drivers side Caliper Mount is DONE (even the ODG Paint on them) and the Bar-Stock I needed to get started on the Passengers side was located after a little digging in the Scrap-Metal-Pile in my Driveway, After this I was WELDING AWAY... Heck I even had time to make some Tabs for the Rubber Lines out front so they reach to the I-beam and can be plumbed with hard lines now.. So after all that my 1931 Chevy with It's 1966 Chevy Van I-Beam and Ford Explorer 8.8 Rear Axle now has FULL DISC BRAKES and all it needs now is the HARD LINES !!!.. Whoot ! - Rob

  • I'm just curious, why did you mount the calipers at 12 o-clock? It looks like you'll have to remove them every time you bleed them.

  • @JasonWW2000 - On the front the wings on the Calipers hit the tab to the spindles.. on the back they get in the way of the steering arms.. On top they are a perfect fit.. Bleeding them now requires removing the tire and one bolt to flip them over.. also consider that you only need to bleed them once.. Even if you need to put new pads on later its very easy..

  • Lookin awesome man, between this and the chopper I declare you "THE MAN" :D

  • @captaincrash80 - TY :^) - Rob.. But don't forget BFF Metal Caster Hank!

  • OK It's Sunday and I blew my back out. Lovely. But I found my rubber line for the I-Beam at the Auto Store today, It's from the Rear Axle of a 74' Nova and is about 12" inches long and goes from the same style end as you see in the Video and at the other end splits out into a Brass "T" with Female ends on both sides.. I put it in a few positions and the best one puts it between the Air-Bags where it jumps from the I-Beam to the Passengers Side Motor Mount PERFECTLY and clears EVERYTHING !!!...

  • Perfect job Rob! I am diggin the bomber theme for the body!! Nice!!!!

  • @FatDaddyLines1990 - I just might go with a Lexan Firewall too.. :^)

  • @MrBowtie355sb - A Silver Aluminum B-17 Bomber THEME with Air-Brushed Panels, Rivets and a Redhead riding a Bomb on each Door.. The Frame can RUST here and there and even fade-out.. I don't mind.. that's the PLAN.. -Rob

  • What are your paint plans for the body?
