The performance doesn't neccesarily have to be done by a boy. In our parish, it is a tradition that both a boy and a girl do it and I have done one myself when I was younger but apart from that, the video is very informative and well done.

unfortunately the crib tradition, which we call 'presepju' is not SO common anymore in my opinion. you'll find a lot of people who still do it, but then again there are lots of families now who simply settle for a xmas tree, and more importantly a life size baby jesus figurine in a crib with lights. this is more common. nice vid btw :)
