@ipip247 No, no, no.... It detects everything but you can see that it brake automatically but he was driving faster than 35 km/h. Of course, auto-brakes won't stop car in this situation but it would minimize damage. :)

they must do a "High-Way Safety" to work at medium speeds like 80-140 km/h

i don't see the point of a system that will only work when you are already driving incredibly slow, who cruises below 30km/h in a city anyway when you are not already paying attention to what is causing you to drive so slow.
The XC60's city safety system do not detect boxes, it detect vehicles only.
