There are several versions, all composed and conducted by Karl Jenkins and all of them perfrmed by Miriam Stockley with additional vocals Mary Carewe, there are different musical arrangements and edits, he used the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the original version (1995) and in the 4th album he formed the "Adiemus Orchestra"...
Enya has nothing to do with the Adiemus project, she has never performed this track in her life, maybe in the shower or in her car who knows !

its not different, they have used different effects on the vocal is all. Miriam sang everything originally. A Choir was only used in live performances, on the recordng its all one woman!

Where do i know this song from?
The series of albums is called Adiemus, as well as one of the tracks in the first album, the componist is Karl Jenkins and the original version was sung by Miriam Stockley and performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra with additional performers and a project choral group conducted by Jenkins
Is it the project choral group that is called Adiemus?

@yueyume This song is the song that made Karl Jenkins' Adiemus project famous. However, this particular song is a version that was released on Miriam Stockley's most recent solo album "Eternal." In this version, she does all of the vocals herself (whereas in the original versions she was the lead singer, accompanied by Jenkins' choral group.)

the lead singers pronounciation in this seems odd, compared to the so called "enya" version - can anyone explain? if this person sung it why is her pronounciation different to the other version... :)

@MukeshPandya1985 The other version of this song was sung by Miriam Stockley as the lead singer, but she had a choir with her. In this version, Miriam Stockley does all of the voices. Also, the other version was done a good 15 years ago or so, which might make a difference in the way it sounds.

i prefer this version than the other of enya, because it's more rythmic and the pictures were so beautiful, like you are in a other universe wonderful

@Babykiara92 Thanks for watching! :-) BTW, there is no version by Enya--anything labeled "Adiemus by Enya" is mislabeled, she never did this song. The other version of this song was also done by Miriam Stockley, accompanied by the Mary Carwe and the Adiemus Singers. This version is solo Miriam Stockley.
