  • Metal era changes..

the 70's = raw and all about how tight your pants is..

the 80's = all about how fast can you play your guitar..

the 90's = all about how wicked you can be..

the 00's = all about how cool your music and looks

the 10's = all about technical music and sound style.

    will love metal for ever!!!

  • Who says you can't play metal with a Tele. Certainly not Joe Duplantier.

  • @fuhdenden the only thing techincal about Gojira is the drumming and arrangements... if you want real technical music listen to Dream Theater or Opeth... but with that said Gojira is fucking brutal and awesome!

  • @11nephilim I certainly agree with your opinion on Lars.

I don't know about Animals as Leaders though.

  • @Maddolis Lars is pretty terrible though really. Especially considering how long he's been playing... The drummer from Animals as Leaders will probably be gettin nominated for best drummer ever in a few years, once they're a bit more popular. He's incredible.

  • @otaku8489 Kudos for giving them the chance.

  • @Claymordolawl He's very good but not the best.

First off I'd say there is no best- but if I were forced to pick one 'best' metal drummer it'd have to be Marco Minneman. Lars certainly doesn't kick ass- Joey's good but overrated (due to Slipknot having millions of fans that think they're the best thing ever), but there are plenty of other incredible drummers out there that put guys like Lars to absolute shame.

  • @ElPsychotron The singer is French, and I believe the new bassist as well. They speak French and have a french background and label. I'm really happy to see that you know Sybreed, means they're getting bigger. :)

  • @monox2k I can get a pretty good metal sound out of a Squier with a decent amplifier and a pedal or 2. I love the twangy sound he's getting during the chugs in the verse. It sounds so... organic. haha.

  • @TheVeccor Fuck yeah. I saw these guys in '06 not knowing who the hell they were. Now I'm so glad I saw them. One of my favorite new bands. Definitely my favorite French band.

  • @fuhdenden I totally agree with you. :) Such amazing band.
