Our family moved to Rathdrum the spring of 1972, when I was three, and lived there until 1981 when I was in seventh grade. My sister and I used to have to walk to grade school through middle school in the thigh-high snow. After my dad passed away, my mom moved us Washington, near the WA/OR border. It rained as we moved stuff from the U-Haul into our "new" rental home back then and it's been soggy here since. I too miss snow when we're supposed to have snow.
i now live in florida but would love to live there again. i used to live on lower twin lake and went to school in rathdrum. that was a long time ago. i would love to live there again but i can see i would have to get used to the snow again. i havent seen snow in 19 years.

I miss Rathdrum so much. Tired of the soggy Oregon and Western WA rubish! Need some snow!
