The Mandatory lifeboat drill is the standard part of all cruises. The passenger lifeboat drill must be held within 24 hours of leaving a port. This required under the SAFETY OF LIFE AT SEA CONVENTION (solas).

  • No. I been on at least three cruise. Two with Norwegian Cruise Lines & one with Carnival Cruise line. They tell you what station you are to report during emergency. Thanks for the question.

  • ya ive been on two and going on another in april this year. they do the drill maybe 2 hours when you get aboard. it takes lke 15 mins.
