We had to fight japan, italy, and germany and had to maintain a troop presence because of "Pearl Harbor" and those above-mentioned countries were part of the axis that we were fighting. And, if your thinking 9/11 was justified reason to attack iraq, then your wrong again because 9/11 did not happen because of iraq as concluded by the 9/11 commission report.
