Holy carp! I thought that was a dude narrating the whole time... I am sympathetic, but they are told about what they are getting into, and to be fair, abuse like this happens all around the world, even in the 'educated' USA.

I would strongly advice a BAN of these maids into singapore cause not only is it encouraging HUMAN TRAFFICKING but allowing the people to be exploited as slavery and helping the extremist movement get their finance for more extremist activities. Some of them are using singapore as their base to gather intelligence so inviting them into your house, what makes you think you have not hired a terrorist into your home.

A lot of them are HUMAN TRAFFICING..... and a lot of them either are mentally not ready to work in a harsh environment like singapore so I call for a ban for Indonesian Maids. Another is that they are sucidal and that makes them a possible terrorist if they enter your homes.

any Asian maid working in any Asian cities, dream to have western expatiates employer.. they really had the fucking silly cantonese or any Chinese employing them, because Chinese are like dogs and treat people like dogs, so they are in the same basket. the difference is the Chinese have money and the Indonesian have nothing... Chinese are know to be selfish, rude and have no warm and feelings in their heart. GO to Hong Kong or Singapore or even Malaysia, see what Chinese do to their maids.

I had been working in s'pore 4 almost 8yrs & this situation are really happening,.. If we compare bet. Chinese, Malay, Indian & expatriate or American employer's.. Expatriate are the best...

I once lived in Singapore. I wish I could say I was surprised by this film, but I'm not. There is something quite ruthless, cruel sometimes, about the way Singapore works and thinks.

Don't get me wrong I have a lot of respect for Singapore and many good friends there. Singaporeans have a lot to be proud of - but for some, that justified pride in their country, has a negative dark side: namely a contempt for people from other countries.

Please understand not all Singaporeans are like this.
