@yhl8 he has a big ego and wants to take credit for the whole community but in reality he is just a popularize r of science and nothing much.. and yes this is what "WE the real physicists (almost all i have talked to)" think.. faker with not much significant research output.. for the non physicists its easier to fool them..

We are heading towards that direction, and the underlying driving force, I guess, is that human being are important. Just as what we have been experiencing with Mobiles, computers, laptops, Internet, we will see that the cost of the hi-tech lifestyle Michio Kaku predicted will be affordable and eventually 'cost a penny', even if it is to 'reverse death'. If it costs a penny, as cheap as a scrip paper which has no indentiy value, then is our life getting more important, or actually less?

Kaku, as usual, was a wonderful and informative speaker. But who are the MORONS that shot/edited this video? They only cut to Kaku's slides a couple of times. The whole time I'm like, "Why don't they cut to all the awesome stuff he's talking about?"

We only really live at the very beginning of history. Think about it, this world only begun 300-400 years ago. Although other civilizations came close to advancing, such as the Roman Empire, the dark ages meant that the first advanced civilization has only come in recent times.

So we only know of a few 100 years so far, its amazing to think about 100 years, 1000 years, 1 million years into the future. Just so many possibilities, its truly uncomprehending.

Worlds lead to new more complex, faster changing worlds within.

The agricultural world lead to the Industrial World (took 8000 years or so)

The Industrial World lead to the Digital World (took around 300 years)

What will the digital world lead to?

Overall very enjoyable talk. I'm just curious which predictions will become the analogy of those darn flying cars we were supposed to have. ;-) Also I am very interested in seeing the changes in society these technologies are bound to cause. They will certainly be people who will not accept living in a society that is OK with such a huge loss of privacy. What will the underground 'movements' of the future look like (like in those cyberpunk novels)?Will we see rise in terrorism as a consequence?
