@Calcium011 THANK YOU for finally pointing this out!
-
Giovanni: Golem, Tackle attack!
Gary: Nidoking, fight it's Tackle with your Tackle!
(Golem rolls backwards and hits the wall like a Lv 5 wuss)
Guards: Nidoking is the winner!
Me: Really?

@Calcium011 You, my friend, are speaking my language. We should ALL think like you, with common sense. Change is good, folks. Nostalgia mustn't rule fandom because then you miss out on large portions of what you're a fan of. And that's not fandom, is it? It's liking Red and Blue Versions. NOT Pokémon as a whole.

@Procepticon I know, I know, but I was parodying the fight between Ash's Charizard and Blaine's Magmar in the anime, where Seismic Toss was the move that took out Magmar.
-
@Sh4d0wKat Not only is Seismic Toss not super effective, it is also a fixed-damage move, doing damage equal to the level of the Pokemon using the move.
-
@Sh4d0wKat I'm going to replay Pokemon Red and replicate all of this...
-
Nintendo seriously need to use this music in future Pokemon games, how amazing would it be
-
My trusty Leafeon has been with me since I started playing Pokemon again with Platinum.

@Calcium011 All generations of the games were good, the only thing that went downhill was the anime. While none quite matched up to the first, battle frontier and diamond/pearl were pretty good... Black/White just took a nosedive.

love this track. they played it in that epic battle b/w magmar and charizard.
Magmar used Glare.
Magmar used Flamethrower. It's not very effective.
Charizard used Flamethrower. It's not very effective.
Magmar used Fire Blast. It's not very effective.
Magmar used Skull Bash. It's super-effective!
Charizard used Sky Attack. It's super-effective!
Magmar used Feint. It's not very effective.
Charizard used Fly.
Charizard uses Seisimic Toss. It's super-effective!

@MGgamer1209 If you really loved Pokemon, you'd accept the fact that games must move and change. This was the kind of bullshit that was going on in the Machinima OoT VS SS debate. Take off the fucking nostalgia glasses, accept the fact that we had a childhood and that those experiences will stay with us forever, and let the games grow and move on for the next generation. But don't put down the new generation, Educate it. Teach the new generations the ways of old.
Also you misspelled Johto.
