In Kuwait election, women push for change - 17 May 08

Voting is underway in Kuwait's parliamentary elections, and this year there are a record 27 women in the running.

One female candidate is fighting to abolish laws segregating boys and girls at schools and universities.

@fuscian The US had 50% GNP wealth OF THE WORLD during WWII and the Russians were starving. We had massive factories producing bomb, planes, tanks ets. Russians production was destroyed. They put most of their factories on trains and sent them east. We had nuclear weapons, they did not. They were unproductive communist vs. most efficient productive capitalist country on earth. @garybsg Google Gulf War Coalition, over 52 countries from the UN participated in the liberation of Kuwait. First time the UN actually did anything right. America didn't contribute much, they couldn't even defeat the Vietnamese.
