Firstly this is a very SWEET SCENE!

but i HIGHLY douby clark would become superman if he married lana...

clark would just be the guy in smallville mysteriously saving people...but never superman...he would want to stay human for lana sake...which was sweet but...

hmm however; I Feel 1 of smallvilles strengths was there choice 2 show how the characters on the show somehow shaped/changed EACH OTHER. I mean, every 1 knows ..Clark is superman. Lex is bad. Lana was clark first love, Lois his future..but I think smallvilles choice to show that outside forces shaped them into there most famous Future persona's was unique! That said I dont think if clark stayed with lana he would have become superman. this show proves that.
