At first, I thought that the main riff for revenge was the bass, and the distant chords in the background were the guitar.

The way I play Revenge (Favorite song on HOTTB) is in drop c, the verse I play is 8-7 5-7-8-7 5-7-8-7-5 while strumming bottom string, and the chorus is 8-0-3-10, although your version sounds right too. BTW, good job on these songs.
P.S. What tuning is Revenge in?
