MOMIX is back with two programs filled with the visual chimera and physical transformation (The New York Times) that characterize the works of this always spell-binding company. For the first two weeks of the four-week run, audiences will experience MOMIX re-MIX, a collection of company highlights that calls attention to choreographer/director Moses Pendletons uncanny ability to capture the unpredictable and the other worldly. The final two weeks are devoted to Botanica, returning to The Joyce after its premiere last May to again enchant audiences with a score that ranges from birdsong to Vivaldi and serves as a backdrop for this magical exploration of the rhythms of the seasons.
One complaint - MUCH, MUCH too short.
Otherwise, absolutely fantastic.
