Once a year the Cascais/Estoril City Council organizes a mega-sports-fair where all clubs and sport associations can promote their activities. On the beautiful sidewalk of the beach in Cascais, there are installed temporary sporting facilities and a full program of all kind of sports, from Yoga, Gymnastics, Fitness to handicapped sports and ball-sports including Korfball. From a Korfball point-of-view the general comments are: "Look mummy, I play this so now and then at school!", or "Waauw, a sport where young and old, man and women play together"...

That's promotion! Wonderful opportunities for the Korfball-sport in Portugal! The local Cascais Corfebol Clube is very active between the youth in the area around Cascais and is proud to be one of the clubs with talented athletes who are participating in the Portuguese National Selections. Together with Sporting Clube de Portugal they have a great number of youth-teams.
