Hey dude, I was just wondering, what amp model and cab were you using on the podxt for the lead tone that you started playing with at 4:00?

@tongarr i used the pickups on that lead, not the variax. the amp model... i guess it was a marshall preamp.

Well that's a brilliant demo of the Variax, and beautiful playing. Bravo! You've obviously played a lot of guitars before the Variax so you are in a good position to answer this: what would you say are the disadvantages with the 700 and the Variax guitars? I'm assuming there must be some :)

@richleonard55 there are some. but now with the new line of james taylor variax models, i asume it's all fixed.
