  • Glad you like it! It is called Appassionato, Cantilena e Toccata. It is by Osvaldo Lacerda, who was a pretty prolific Brazilian composer, but his music is very difficult to come by in the States. Check interlibrary loan. Thank you!

    You already heard recording this? My teacher played the parts to the authors before writing the disc "Masters of Brazilian Music" in 1961 ... For you who like Brazilian music is worth giving .. Has several other pieces which were the first pieces of emphasis on viola.

    If you wanna search, the name is:

    "Mestres da Música Brasileira" by George(or Géza) Kiszely and Cleia (I dont remember a last name...)
