hey a vid of it in the water would be great. Im looking to get one of these motors for my 10 foot flat bottom jon boat and am wondering about the power compared to other similar rated motors but there isn't much in the way of videos of these motors. I've heard mostly good reviews about them but have yet to see one perform on the water. Can't wait till you make a vid of it.

I think they should have routed the exhaust into the water. That would have made it quieter.

The rev limiter will cause it to miss and shutter. In the water, it will run fine.

In follow up now that I've had mine in the water... The engine does bot hit the rev limiter under load (in water).

Did any one find out the deal with the low rpm problem? I just bought one haven't had on water yet but it misses and sputters at more than half throttle. Air fuel mix? Throttle cable adjust? Or is it bc there is no load on the prop?

Yes it has forward neutral and reverse
