Astronomy, history and murder! - The quick guide to who might have killed Tycho Brahe and why we should care.
Gresham Professor of Astronomy, Professor Morison, discusses the life and work of Brahe (1546-1601), the great Danish astronomer and fomer assistant to Johannes Kepler, and tells the tale of the dubious circumstances of his death, highlighting the suspected possible murderers and their motives.
In this small talk, given as a prelude to his Gresham College lecture on 'Voyages to the Outer Solar System', was presentedt by Professor Ian Morison 409 years and one month after the death of Brahe, on the 24th of October 1601.
The talk marks the exhumation of Brahe's body in order to investigate the causes of his death by the use of modern technology.
Professor Ian Morison's full hour-long lecture is available for free download (like all of our lectures) in its complete form from the Gresham College website, in video, audio or text formats:

I curious as to why he didn't mention Tycho's geocentric model? Or that Keplar stole Tycho's observational data when he died?
