If you live in Kansas today, you are right in the middle of history.

Since 1990, the population of rural Kansas has declined significantly. Meanwhile, growth in our cities, suburbs and bedroom communities during that same period of time has been nothing short of phenomenal.

The slow, steady movement of population away from rural Kansas and its impact on those who remain is explored in a half-hour television documentary, which aired statewide in the fall of 2006 and nationwide on RFD-TV.
