I have a question for men. I am a woman so I don't think the way you do. Why do you find Agnetha more attractive than Frida? I think Frida is more beautiful, just look at her, gorgeous eyes, a nice slim body, etc. Is it the blond hair that she doesn't have or maybe because she's 5 years older than Aggi? Please help me because I am at a loss. If I were a man, I'd definitely pick Ann-Frid.

I can't speak for all men Rita, but I know for me Aggy was the first voice I heard and the first picture I saw. This was 1974, and I was smitten from the beginning at the young age of 13. It had nothing to do with age ( Frida's 5 years older than Aggy ) or hair color. My bottom line here is simple...without either one of these lovely ladies, there would be no ABBA! So feel free to favor one or the other ( and don't forget B&B ! ) Thanks for looking in Rita!

I know that Agnetha is every man's favorite.

Yes she is stunning. Personally I would get bored looking at Agnetha for a long time. But place her next to sultry, sexy, mysterious, soulful and vivacious Frida, I could look at them the whole day. They both had beautiful voices but Frida gave a depth to all the songs that is just phenomenal.

Beautiful beautiful Frida, when I hear her sing and think about the sadness and tragedies she endured in her life even at an early age and yet she could still share her gift with the world so perfectly, it just cements her special place in my heart for always. Perhaps thats why I always liked her best of the legendary group ABBA.

Wow I can't believe this. I've been a fan of ABBA for quite some time, and only now, I realize Frida sang lead on this. I really thought it was Agnetha all this time, and thought this video was labeled wrong.

Rita, I used to like both ladies equally until the song/video of"Take a chance on me" came out and when I see Frida winking in the video she just won me over and my heart melted. From then on Frida has been my favorite, she has everything a man could possibly want.

@Rita1972 I've ever feel in love with Frida, I found her much more attractive than agneta (that is also lovely) Both had great voices. No one can understand ABBA without one of them.

A powerhouse performance by Frida. It's just perfect. She was the Mezzo to Agnetha's 'Soprano'. Good to see Frida's contribution getting the credit it deserves.

I was about 12 years old when I've heard this song first. I still can remember I sat very straight in my chair and started to cry ... once of this wonderful voice of Frida ... and also of the meaning of this song. Leaving a safe place, where all the peoples live who you love and care for ... and to go out for this great adventure of being popular. "One chance in a lifetime ... it can go wrong"

@Rita1972 In some respects Frida is more attractive than Agnetha, but it's a question of apples and oranges. They're both great, and I'm actually loath to say that one is better than the other. Their voices and personalities complemented each other perfectly.

It's fun reading the Agnetha vs. Anni-Frid debate. I suppose I have a slight preference for Agnetha--her singing makes her seem more vulnerable, sweet, and easily pleased (compare "Hasta Manana" or "S.O.S." against "Money Money Money" or "Knowing Me Knowing You"). Both have their distinct glory, but it is not surprising to me that Anni-Frid's solo albums were far superior to Agnetha's.
