Thanks for your video. I have been trying the exercises already. I used to be an avid swimmer, but developed and allergy to the heavily chlorinated water. So I started using a stationary bike and a treadmill instead. That is when I started with this IT band problem.
@lydiadugan yea my doc said going up and down stairs can do it, running, walking but its gotta be the outside of the knee. He basically sent me to physical therapy and told me to take advils every 8 hours. just stretch and dont worry about it too much

I find it painful to go down stairs, not up. Is this a symptom on Iliotibial band syndrome?
