well, difficult cuz you can't relly compare them and they are used for different purposes. If you want a home theatre >70 inch screen you will have to get a projector anyway. If you want a 50-60 inch screen you'll get a LCD/Plasma so there isn't much to discuss.
Back to the topic, a >2000Dollar FullHd Projector is at least as good as a Flatscreen
