Oh My... this is a Marketing and Promo thing - the pens are the only team who does not have a good Promo and Marketing Department... go to wal mart and buy a Gold/black shirt! do it, you will be doing something better for the team.... Since you guys think its a tradition then why don't you wear black when the pens where white? you would think the NHL would step in and help with the marketing of this team..

Yeppers...anyone who's ever watched a Crosby interview or press conference KNOWS he's anything BUT egotistical. He never takes credit himself and always compliments his teammates first. If you've watched his games since 2005, you'll often see him try his best to get a teammate a goal if they are in a slump.

Personal records and trophies mean nothing to him...he only wants to win the Stanly Cup Championship as a team.

The Penguins have only sold the most NHL merchandise for the past 3 seasons as well as leading all FSN affiliates in numbers of viewers of hockey games. Not to mention being called the model franchise by Bettman.
