....and hence, there are valid reasons for people to ahve a hard time taking the rationalist and atheist movements seriously.

I say this as a faithless rationalist, freethinker, anti-theist myself; whom is also an agnostic whom leans myself slightly towards deism, but am kinda apatheistic as well.

Because I actually THINK rather than merely REACT. And hone far more sophitciated and rational arguments than these hypocrites.

...and that there may be valid rational, well reasoned arguments and reasons that do not contradict mouhntains of evidence or logic/reason for a person to think that there is or "probably" is or "highly possibly may be" a creator force of some unknown/undefined and non-anthropomorphic/centric type.

This is unsophicticated faith based-atheism and pseudo-rationalism at it's saddest, this womans statements.

It is counter-produtcive and incredibly stupid to proclaim such things as 'all americans{y implication all people/nations/etc as well} are all godless because THERE IS NO GOD[period}".

Wow, lets worship this woman because obviously she's omniscient and knows all thetre is to know about the universe{possible multiverse}.

She'd have been more intelligent, less reactionary, and made this movement/event more legit by saying "there may or may not be a god".

Sure, the mytholofgical sky-parents/tyrants of theisms are impossible, but can you really say there is no deistic god/force with such certainty.
