  • would this also work with beef short ribs? cuz i wana use them up before buying more meet

  • @vamdolly definitely. They might take a bit longer but if after the 2 hours the ribs are still not quite tender (falling off the bone) add more liquid (stock or water) and let them cook a bit longer. Thanks for checking in.

  • @octopuspick add the spuds about 1/2 hour before the end. They'll cook right in there with the meat. Cheers.

  • what do you use in your bouquet garni (sp?), i live in canada and i've never seen anyone use them over here. i know some place have pre-made ones that come in a tea bag type sack, so i was wondering if there is there a standard herb set?

    @CarolineTurpentine I just use thyme, rosemary and parsley. You could use whatever herbs you like. I don't use the teabag ones but you certainly could. The whole idea is to add the flavour of the herbs but remove the bouquet before serving the stew.
