The story is practiclly about Sora and the 2 girls in his life. He both loves them but he has to chose between Kairi, the girl he knew all his life, or Namine, the girl he just met. Namine tricks Sora into pickng her by erasing his memory about Kairi. But when he sees Namine, all he can see is some girl he can't remember, so he falls asleep then fights after that to remember that girl. Finally, he remembers Kairi, the girl he really loves.
