Lol I've done a TON of tinkering on my Ubuntu xD
-
@SteveTheMovieTheGame i like linux but i cant game on it thats why i dont use it much, i would reccomend either ubuntu or mint
-
now if only there was an Pinguy os 11.10 version using Arch Linux as the base instead of ubuntu. that would be my distro!!
-
Arch; "For those who like to keep it simple" What? it's for those who like tinkering, but I'm not in the mood to rant and rage, so I'll click your like button, and you can just keep doing what you do.

I prefer Unity and Gnome 3 over KDE, and XFCE, but I love LXDE
-
Fedora?

I think Pardus can be much better than others. Just give it a chance.
Obviously people don't like this :)

KDE, KDE, KDE, KDE, Gnome 2, Unity, Gnome 2, KDE, KDE.
You're a big KDE fan, arent you? I dont know, i have this hunch! XD
I'm a new user to Linux and i mainly stick to the Ubuntu's although i've pretty much given up on Linux at this point. Just look at your video! All the KDE distros look identical aside from the default wallpapers! I know, i know, their differences are internal. But i'm kinda superficial. Apple made me that way! XD

@SteveTheMovieTheGame Yes, I admit it, I am a KDE fan. Also frugalware has a different icon set. The differences are internal. Arch linux (2) Uses a rolling release model, BSD-like scripts and pacman package manager. Chakra (1) is the same thing except more polished and it comes as a live CD. openSUSE is more for the enterprise and Fedora is like a test bed for RHL. Frugalware is like a remix of slackware w/ pacman. Ubuntu is a user-friendly user-ready linux distro. So, yes.

@SteveTheMovieTheGame Also will you tell me why you're giving up on linux? Is it usability? Lack of polish? User interface? The fickleness? Tell me and I may be able to help you.

@stephenmac8 (Part 5) Ubuntu 11.04 and Fedora 15 seem like the obvious choices for me. But right now they have issues with anything i put on them. Unity's massive lag. Fedora seems alien to me after getting used to Ubuntu based distros. Not to mention i cant install an ATI driver on Fedora without breaking the system. Thanks for the replies though. I appreciate it. Sorry for the long post(s).
