The song is just sweet, sweet, sweet. No way to decsribe--incredible voice and those guitars just blow my mind and call up that special pure joy that only special music does for me.

Thanks for sharing this song. Love the ballads that John Coinman writes. Seeing him with Modern West June 4 & 5, 2009 in Niagara Falls Canada. It's going to be a great show....(I've seen them a few times before)!

This was my 3rd TFF and I have to agree that seeing Dana Hubbard was the highlight of my trip. Such a wonderful song writer and very polished in his performance! I bought a couple of his songs on iTunes for my envionmentally-challenged roommates and they loved them.

Haven't missed a Tucson Folk Festival in years. This year ('08) it was even better. We usually hang out at the Old Town Artisans stage. It's a real close-up experience. There was a fellow performing this year, Dana Hubbard, who just absolutely stole the show as far as I was concerned. His words were magic and guitar playing just extraordinary. Can't wait 'til next year.

Hi, The song is "Long Hot Night" written by John Coinman and Teddy Morgan. It is on two of John's albums - most recently on "Untold Truths' made with Kevin Costner . The album made it on the Billboard charts in 2008. Hope this helps.

Hi Bert, That is John Coinman. He played at the festival and is a local. He also plays with Kevin Costner and wrote some of the music for Dances with Wolves. I put his name at the beiginning but I should have put at end also. Thanks for watching!
