Frank Wakefield - New Camptown Races

Frank Wakefield and the Del McCoury Band playing Frank's signature tune New Camptown Races. Frank's Band and Del's Band played at the East Hartford Community Cultural Center in East Hartford, Connecticut on 11/16/07. At the end of the evening Del invited Frank out to do the encore. Frank and Ronnie McCoury on mandolins, Del on guitar, Rob McCoury on banjo, Jason Carter on fiddle and Alan Bartram on bass.

Too bad the sound wasn't a bit better on the vid. Jason Carter is one of the smoothest fiddle players I have ever heard. I would like to have heard everything he could do with this tune.
