Hey! I've bought Jeff's book about Flight Simulator X and boy, it is one of the nicest book on the subject I've ever read. It's nice to see the man who wrote this wonderful book.

Way to complicated and expensive. Give me steam gauges any day of the week, they work, are cheap, and are void of microsoft anything. Remember all of these systems are computers and run operating systems. Operating systems crash, all of them, you don't want to be booting up on a flight critical phase of flight. If they where reasonably priced, then maybe, as a toy to play with in the cockpit.  Other than that, they are just video games as far as I'm concerned.

The downside to this beautiful piece of technology as with any other instrument, is trying to tune / push the right frequency / button during choppy and bumpy weather. You might end up pushing a button you don't want.

that mooney is missing some paint on its intake
