Do ya'll coordinate with the BiCy on burns? Particularly in Zone 4 which butts up to ENP? Would love to see video from that area with the same production quality shown here. Thanks again!

Yes, coordination and cooperation is definitely required for any fire along the park boundaries. EVER Fire and Aviation Management is currently planning the 'Northwest River of Grass' prescribed fire between Shark Valley and the Big Cypress border. There are plans to hire filmmaker Jennifer Brown to document fire operations. Please contact Rick Anderson, EVER Fire Management Officer, for more information: rick_anderson@nps.gov

Why was Jon Wallace identified as the Burn Boss, next to an NPS logo? Isn't he a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service employee providing interagency assistance?

Jon Wallace does work for the US Fish & Wildlife Service. However, we used the National Park Service (NPS) logo because the project was NPS funded, on NPS land and a NPS production. Thanks for your feedback.
