@gasayers Thanks for the tip, much appreciated.

How did you round off the Fuzz ? I have done the same as you with the flaps, how is flying with the flaps down ? is it slow and stable, I have never flown with flaps before.

Nice job. The rounded fuselage looks great.

A joy to watch.

Nice mod of flap, will help more.
Need a better video camera or upload for even better viewing?

Nice video!
Did you add an elevator mix with the flaps? I just have maiden my spit (Ep version) and still trying to figure out the best landing strategy :)

I am very nervous about my maiden flight and any tips would be appreciated. I love this plane and don't want to crash.

@spitfire9341 I quite literaly turned the fus over, measured down half the width of the underside and cut off that amount. Then jsut glued in new round ribs and covered. Time consuming but easy.
landing with the flaps is a dodle. Wouldn't recomend flying around with them and make sure you come down to land on a steep angle so you don't stall and fall out of the sky.

How'd you modify the flaps to get that much travel?

Before assembly clear out around the control rods so they travel 90deg and then glue the hinges into place with the flaps at 90deg.
I doubt it could be done in retrospect.
