Well, first I would like to apologize to everyone for my English, and also for any despotism related to what I say. I am a Brazilian, training bujutsus almost ten years, and some of them come to collect as much information as I can.
-
My country has had an intense migration of different peoples, including Japanese. Among these, many were martial artists who were trying a new life. Grace's father, in his travels through the interior of the Amazon found a Japanese judo master, called Coma Konji (the second name comes from the fame of all his opponents ended in coma) who taught him his art.
-
After some time Gracie moved to Rio de Janeiro (over 5000 km away), where he consolidated his reputation. But what was most remarkable was that even with a weak constitution, he became a brawler unbeatable in the alleys of Rio His fame brought many followers to the new style he had been consolidating.
-
But his style was being lost, with the jiujitsu taken more and more to the sporting side, losing much of their martial arts, completely corrupting its initial proposal of martial art. Nothing I said is supreme, everything is subject to errors, and any one can fix or suggest some information, I have helped to clarify some of what is jiujitsu.

what is that? "jitsu" its jutsu

Aside from some minor critiques of a couple specific techniques (personal preference), I really enjoyed your Jujutsu. Please post more.
-
yeah but i can bet that some people might spell like that :/
-
(cont)
as for 'jijitsi' 'jijitsu' 'jujutsi' ive never seen it spelled like that in any language
-
jujutsu - the name of an old martial art (old being anything predating the meiji restoration era or tokugawa, cant remember which)
jujitsu / jiu jitsu - some bullshit of the more recent era, i guess to differentiate the two, not that many even know the difference as they use it interchangeably. this is what gracie jujitsu/brazilian jujitsu (cause there is a difference according to the gracies) is under
Very interesting - reminds me of Soden waza I have practiced from the Takumakai. Enjoyed your vid. Actually that has to be Soden waza - did you learn it from Amatsu sensei?

@gaperiott Thank you for your comment. That's right, these are Soden techniques and our teacher is Amatsu sensei. Check our website for more information.
