Pop-pop boat fitted with a rudimentary tinfoil "Kitchen" reversing rudder running backwards in my kitchen sink. Invented by Jack Kitchen in the early 20th century, the Kitchen rudder is designed to control the speed and direction of a boat fitted with a constant-speed engine by deflecting the thrust of the propeller fowrard. This was an experiment to see how well the Kitchen rudder concept works on a pop-pop boat, as a first step towards a fully radio-controlled pop-pop boat in the future.
Does the job I think :)
Nice sink too.
