I have to say one more thing too.

I just heard today 12/15/09, that the R&R hall of fame(?) is inducting Abba this year.

I think Paul Revere and the Raiders did more for Rock & Roll than a lot of bands previously inducted, INCLUDING Abba!

WTF, who the f^%# qualifies these inductees.............14 yr. olds who have read an article from an old magazine?

I do believe Paul had a B-Day last week B/C it is very close to mine. He is now in is 70's!! Now how old does that make me? HA!

I like Abba a hell of a lot. But the Raiders is an earlier an totally different kind of ball game. The Raiders played honest rock just a few years before the hard stuff such as Cream and the Zep got popular. They did real music with a bit of an edge, but were not in the "bubblegum" category. ---for an enjoyable kick, check out "The Music Machine" a bit rougher, but from the same time period.

@nzmoores I understand ABBA, they outsold the Beatles in Europe. But, Doctor John...? I liked Doctor John I even bought his Album. Raiders should of been in the Hall of Fame decades ago!

Love that hard soulful drive from Mark. They did a song about 3 years later called "I don't want nobody to lead me on" with same energy and drive from Mark.

Those "roaches" running the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame keep their heads up their "ices" too often to appreciate and recognize good R & R history paving/making bands like Paul Revere and the Raiders. The R & R Hall of Fame has unfortunately become too much of a "payola" club rather than what it originally began as -- so the hell with them. Keep on ROCKIN' PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS -- YOU'RE IN MY HALL OF FAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They don't consider Abba a rock band but I agree that both ABBA, and P.R.A.T.Rs should be in. Also the Moody Blues.

A video like this gets them into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? They did some good stuff but I would give them an honorable mention. They were heavily controlled and had thier own tv show. They did not run it-the corporate guys told them what to do. I hope they made some money. Im going to see Paul Reveres raiders next week. I think it will be a good and funny show because they are still into comedy.
