@RobW581 The Blockheads sound as good as ever. Ian can never be replaced but Derek Hussey, a close friend of Ian (search his name) is on lead vocals, sort of lets the band keep a family feeling, bringing in an outsider might not have worked. Check their website & on Facebook, they sometimes go north of Watford.

I think Ian was one of those acts back then,that as soon as you heard them you just knew they were giants, legends-to-be outclassing all the weedy crap music endlessly displayed on top of the pops.
there ain't half been some clever bastards
now that we've had some of his class of talent (R.I.P), lets hope that there's lots more to come
