Gasol, Odom, and Odom are average players? Kobe's playing w/ a killer supporting cast, LeBron's the one playing w/ average players and making them better. Mo's a great player, but the rest of LeBron's teammates last year were mediocre (Delante West, Z, Gibson, Varejao).

kobe's game has changed alott over the last few yrs. he made average teamates into champions by perfecting the double team. compared talent and skill... kobe over lebron by a long shot. although kobe is at his peak and lebron is a few years away... right now 24 is #1 b/c he is the best clutch & overall player, by far. after last season... i think carmelo is right there with lebron for 2nd best. IMO, thats a better comparison.
