This musculoskeletal model shows the individual muscle activities during a pushup motion. The model consist of approximately 550 individually activated muscles. The model is based on inverse dynamics, the input to the model is the motion and the load, and the output is the individual muscle and joint forces. In essense this is computer aided ergonomics.

  • Legs are far too wide apart. That means you're taking too much support at the back and decreasing the load at the front, which you need.
