luffy could never beat ace unless he learns how to control his haki or... well, he could just turn into mizu luffy, like when he did against crocodile xDD

Only because their weaknesses were obvious, and by my count he's only beaten two logia types (Crocodile and Enel). If he went up against Aokiji, Kizaru, Smoker, Ace or Teach, he would lose easily.
