Part the way through this 1930 film you realise you are looking at the basic mechanisms that most of the machines we need for modern life rely on. I spotted the valve timing mechanisms for steam engines, shutter mechanisms for movie cameras, differential gear sets used in cars, the principles of rotary car engines. It just goes on and on, thank you uploader my night surfing youtube has not been wasted.
