This video again, I tried a different compressor.
The shadow bug is still there, Ill bother fixing it in my next fumefx video, I just didnt want to re-render it just to fix a shadow on a video that isnt even worth it.
Blargle, Blargle - Ill delete the first video when I get around to compare the 2 youtube versions.

  • @TheMercuryArms Basically I used a simple source set to a cylinder, and then over the first 4 frames, I increased its scale about 300% (the radius (or diameter -whatever controls the size) in the beginning was 1 meter), and right after that, over one frame, I put it down to ~5%, so that there is a little smoke left.

I also played around with the buoyancy till it made it rise really fast.

In the end I added Wavelet turbulence just for fun ;D

  • @xMoreTx

I've watched plenty of tutorials so I understand things about 3dsmax and FumeFX. I just need the right parameters. And please tell me also if you used some other elements in 3dsmax to produce this.

  • @TheMercuryArms how experienced are you?

I can send you a PM explaining some stuff, but I don't wanna waste my time if you don't understand shit about Fume

  • How did you make the vortex? please give some tutorial or point me to the right direction.
