Amazing times we live in. I'm living over in Taipei recalling those great Rainier ads and am now watching them a few minutes after the thought hit me. It's pretty damn amazing. At the moment I'm drinking Taiwan Beer, but the ads suck.

Wasn't there a similar commercial with a station wagon full of "beer hunters" who had been skunked on opening day? I remember a guy in the back seat grabbing a huge bottle opener (ala rifle) and wanting to pop the bottle's top in the middle of the road. His buddies said something along the lines of "there'll always be next season." Someone needs to post that. Probably too controversial for "today's Seattle."

So happy to see someone posting the 1970's Rainier commercials on Youtube. This moment that always got me when they wake the kid up because that happened to me alot- "oh honey wake up- look at the deer!" If I can make a request, I would like see the Folgers parody.
