Love Murtagh, love Linkin Park... so pretty much i love this video.

Murtagh is definatly the greatest character in the books, because he's not good and he's not bad. I find some of the other characters like Eragon are just too... GOOD. But Murtagh is confused, and i love confused characters.

He's got hopes and dreams, he comes from a house which didnt support him, so he Ran Away, and he was forced by a parent-like figure to do something he didn't want too... Sound familiar? @Metalhammer1993 Paolini will(I hope) yeah Galbatorix found out his true name so he controls Murtagh and Eragon is well Eragon he'll defiantly blow Galbatorix to bits eventually

@loyal2murtagh4ever did he swear on his true name? You can´t lie in the old language and to break an oath means to lie. And didn´t Murthag say GAlbatorix took care for the case of the true name changing. Sorry but the only way Eragon and Murthag becoming friends again is that Eragon blows Galbatorix in to bits. And that´s easier said than done. I hope Paolini finds a way to get around his own rules like the elves do

@Metalhammer1993 he has a chance if he is able to change himself then in turn that changes his true name setting him free and I'm actually sure the author can come up with a way around it

@Veggie814 they won´t. Murthag betrayed Eragon even if it wasn´t on free will. He needed to swear an oath to Galbatorix in the old language in which you can´t lie. So he has to fullfill the oath by the magic of the old language. Brom explained it in first book and Murthag also explained it when he fought Eragon.
