Isabella Wall has emerged as a key figure among the young generation of women in the Latino
community in the United States as a Quinceañera Expert. Since April, 2001, she has been
researching, developing and reviving the very old Hispanic tradition called Quinceañera, when
Latinas celebrate their fifteen birthday and transition from little girl to young adult. Just as
elaborate as a wedding but without the groom, Quinceañeras are a pricey rite of passage of
utmost importance, which require a lot of preparation and involvement from the family.
